Over dinner on holiday in the South of France Alex said to Alexia “I noticed you’re not wearing jewelry… so how about you marry me?” And, just like that he pulled out the ring. "I had found the ring box when unpacking the bags so I knew it was going to happen. But, it was still a very exciting and happy moment…”
The couple chose the Greek island, Hydra, because Alexia grew up traveling there since her father is Greek. After seeing the view from Sunset Restaurant, they fell in love and knew it was the perfect place to get married.
Alexia's dress was vintage inspired but not too complicated. She wanted it to encompass the "flowy and relaxed" vibe of the Greek Islands. She insisted it be white to compliment the blue waters that would set the scene of the ceremony. Her bouquet included a mix of colorful local flowers that gave a wild essence to it all. Her gorgeous maids wore Cloud Tulle Ballgowns which fit the scenery perfectly.
“The best moment of our wedding was our first dance, everyone joined in singing and dancing and kicked the party off with a bang” — Alexia
